2016 was the most violent year on record since World War II. To respond to the urgent need to scale up effective responses to violence, in early 2019 the University of San Diego’s Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice and the Stanley Foundation launched Impact:Peace to accelerate and amplify the most promising change processes in the Peacebuilding field through the deployment of dynamic evidence delivered at the right time to the right people.

Launching Impact:Peace

Leading peacebuilders and violence prevention experts came together in May to provide their insights, vision and guidance to help steer this important initiative.
